Tāmaki Legal's beginnings as a family business forms the basis of the whānau culture that's been developed.
Our community of lawyers and administration staff gives us the capacity to help and it also makes for a lively work environment. The whānau culture enhances a caring work place and that fosters a practice that cares.
how we work
Our team of skilled and dedicated lawyers strive to properly represent our clients. Client care is key. That goal entails walking in the client's shoes, meticulous planning, good communication, document excellence and seeing things through to the end.
Our collaborative approach to problem solving is a key performance enhancer.
The firm’s pepeha is “Whītiki koe” or “Gird yourself (for the battle ahead).” Whītiki koe generates the right mind-set when litigating and it generates comprehensive preparation.
WHAT WE DO
Tāmaki Legal does a lot of treaty claims work. But we also have teams of lawyers working on criminal defence matters, employment issues, immigration and family law issues. We also assist with commercial law matters and with MACA Act applications.
