Ashley Johns

Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Maniapoto

Ashley graduated the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in late 2021. 

Ashley joined Tamaki Legal in 2023. Prior to that, Ashley worked as a general practice lawyer and provided legal advice in relation to estate planning, trust formation and administration, and property transactions. She is currently involved in the Housing Policy and Services, Justice, Mana Wahine and Constitutional Kaupapa Inquiries as well as Marine and Coastal Area High Court Applications. 

Ashley is passionate about working alongside whānau, hapū and iwi and assisting them to achieve positive outcomes for Māori.
