Urgent Hearings

An urgent hearing is a hearing that is required as a matter of urgency given an impending Crown decision, policy or law where the claimants have no other recourse or way to challenge the decision, policy or law, and will face suffer, significant and irreversible prejudice. In 2019, we represented three clients who participated in the Wai 2915 Oranga Tamariki Urgent Inquiry.

 

Priority Hearings

Priority hearings are hearings which have been prioritised by the Waitangi Tribunal over and above other Tribunal inquiries.
