Maithili Sreen

Maithili is a Senior Solicitor with a depth of experience in human rights advocacy.

She joined Tamaki Legal in June 2020 where she has been working on various Waitangi Tribunal Kaupapa Inquiries, Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011 High Court applications and criminal matters before the District Court. Prior to this, she worked as a Barrister specialising in refugee and immigration matters, frequently appearing before the Refugee Status Branch and Immigration and Protection Tribunal. Maithili is a Lead Provider for Waitangi Tribunal and Refugee Law matters.  

Aside from work, Maithili also sits on the Board of the Asylum Seekers Support Trust.
